Initial public offering of company shares completed in March. Yangmei and Hsinchuang factory accredited with ISO 9001 quality assurance system certification.
1998
The Engineering Division accredited with ISO 9002 quality assurance system certification in March.
The SF6 gas insulated switchgear and amorphous core transformers accredited with ISO 9002 certificated by RWTUV.

Yangmei factory accredited with ISO 14001 environment management system certification in February.
